Earlier this month I contacted NuKote to have my house painted. I met with David Chaney and was impressed with how he took the time to listen to all of my concerns and thoroughly studied my house. He then shared many good ideas with me to consider. These ideas were always presented in the spirit of doing the best job and bringing the most value to me and my family. The sincerity of these ideas was evident from the very beginning and it was apparent that they were not just “sales talk”. I agreed to several of David’s ideas and I am very pleased with the results.

NuKote repainted our house, power-washed the house and sidewalks, and resurfaced the decking around our swimming pool. I was very happy as to how “new” our house looked at the end of the job. The NuKote crew was very friendly throughout the job and worked very hard. We really appreciated how they put in long days and did high-quality work. We also appreciated how David would do a walk through with me at the end of the day to review the work performed and discuss any items to be addressed, adjusted, etc.

We will definitely use NuKote Services for any future projects at our house and I recommend that you use them as well.

We had laminate put on our stairs in our home by a flooring company in Katy; the workmanship they did on the stairs was terrible and come to find out they should have never recommended laminate on stairs. Thankfully, we found David Chaney / Nu-Kote Services , he told us exactly what he could do to make our stairs look better. And, WOW was he right! David and his crew took out the laminate on the stairs and replaced it with solid Red Oak steps and wood risers. His crew is so professional and nice, we wish we would have hired them first! They literally turned a horrible situation into a happy one.

Since moving into our home, we have hired David’s crew to replace a kitchen door, refinish the front doors on our home, fix damage to an upstairs bathroom caused by a water incident, and enclose a very open space in our home to create another room, matching the trim and finish of the original design perfectly. David’s people are polite, show up on time, clean up after themselves and are quick to complete a job once it’s started.

I have used NuKote Services for two home projects. Our first project was completed after Hurricane Ike and included rebuilding our wood fence and cleaning, repairing, and painting the exterior of our house. Our second project with NuKote was this year and included structural re-enforcement of our two car garage ceiling and replacement of the garage doors. The re-enforcing work involved repairing cracked joist and header beams, adding wood stringers to the roof rafters, putting down some wood decking in the attic area, replacing ceiling wall board, and repainting garage ceiling. The two projects were completed on schedule and within the original cost estimates given by David Chaney.

My home had so much damage I thought it would never be the same, NuKote made it even better!! I love the thermal storm (Gulf Coast energy rated) Simonton Pro Series windows installed when the Sunroom was rebuilt using all Hardi-Plank (which is a great improvement from before). My house had extensive sheetrock damage, exterior wood damage (both structural and cosmetic), wood flooring, painting, roofing . . . and we even completely changed the look of the living room by first removing huge mirrors on walls and fireplace and then installing beautiful stone on the fireplace, dramatically changing the appearance of living room.

Just wanted to thank you for having a reliable and hard working gentlemen put our expansion joints in our driveway this past month. NuKote did an incredible job as well as replacing some rotted wood and re-painting. We have had companies come out to do work in the past, and when we asked them to come back after the job because there were some touch ups that needed to be done, and they never showed up.
